The Metal Shell Series (MSS) of connectors are designed to withstand full ocean depth pressure and harsh environments, including offshore and exploration and are ruggedised for ease of handling and deployment. Contact configurations are available in various shell sizes ranging from a single electrical contact or coax, through to 122 contacts including optical (single mode or multimode).

In addition to this, SEA CON^® also offers glass sealed inserts for higher pressures or temperatures. The MSS connectors are pressure rated to 20,000psi (mated and potted) with a temperature range of -50°C to 100°C. The standard shell material is Stainless Steel, but other materials are available upon request.
