The Bowtech LED-K-365UV-DC Blacklight features the latest in LED technology with their benefits. The lamp produces and emits only UV light. Unlike the outdated black lights of the past which required heavy and costly ballasts to run the Mercury Vapour discharge lamps THAT produced only a small proportion of UV light which had to be passed through a “Woods” filter, to eliminate the other wavelengths. As a result far more usable UV is present for your inspection task.

The LED-K-365UV-DC has no fragile filaments, is highly shock resistant, robust, with exceptional longevity. The LED-K-365UV-DC has an effective lifetime greater than 100,000 hours. This leads to an enormous “in service” cost saving over lamps with incandescent bulbs.

The 3000m rated housing is made from hard anodised Aluminium, Titanium and Stainless Steel, which offers proven, corrosive, resistance. The remotely dimmable LED array used is fitted with a cluster of UV LED’s with a wavelength of 400nm, the light produced is ideal for conventional leak detection, and is more commonly known as a “Black Light”.
