The Bowtech LED-K-850IR-DC produces a higher output of IR light with better transmission through the water column. This light features the latest LED technology; it is fitted with a cluster of Near IR LED’s with a wavelength of 850nm.

The LED-K-850IR-DC has no fragile filaments, is highly shock resistant, robust, with exceptional longevity.

The LED-K-850IR-DC has an effective lifetime greater than 100,000 hours. With the exceptional lifetime this leads to an enormous “in service” cost saving over lamps with older LED’s.

The 3000m rated housing is made from hard anodised Aluminium, Titanium and Stainless Steel, which offers proven, corrosive, resistance. The light produced is ideal for non-intrusive observations of marine ecosystems.
